These functions are mandated to develop sustainable farming business amongst small holder and commercial farmers in the Kingdom of Eswatini, as well as to ensure provision of food, economic security in our communities and a well governed import, export and transitioning system of agricultural produce.
The National Marketing and Agricultural Board facilitates markets for farmers in and outside the country and assist these farmers with production, processing, storage, transportation, distribution of the produce the sale of scheduled products.
The Services We Offer
We operate a marketing extension service that forms part of our farmer support and development through Marketing Extension Officers (MEOs).
Through our Farmers Support and Development Unit, we run a fully-fledged farm input shop. We believe that for any farmer to be successful in the agribusiness industry, they should not be delayed by lack of input supplies.
In conducting our fresh produce market, implement strict quality standards where we monitor the quality of the produce from planting phase to post harvesting phase.
This function is enabled by the Import and Export of scheduled agricultural products regulation notice No. 8 (Amendments) effective 1st June 2013.
